Mary and Joseph are both boxed bottomed so they will sit if you want them too or stand using the large doll stands.

Mary is 27 inches tall and has a hand painted face. She has black yarn for hair. Mary is wearing a homespun dress and brown leggings. She has felt sandals on her feet. Mary has soft sculptured fingers and toes. Her hands are tacked so that she can hold her beloved bundle of Joy.

Joseph measures 28 inches tall and his face is also hand painted. Joseph outfit is made from vintage fabric. He has soft sculptured fingers and toes like Mary. He is also wearing sandals made from felt and crochet thread. Joseph is holding a staff made from brown vintage fabric and stuffed with polyfill. Joseph hair is made from brown lumpy bump yarn.

The reason for this season is baby Jesus.

Jesus is made from natural muslin that I lightly stained with gingerbread tea. He has a hand painted face and measures 9 inches long. This small doll had no arms or legs. He is wrapped in white muslin cloth. The cloth he is swaddled in is NOT stained to show the purity of Jesus. He is not tacked in Mary’s arms so that you may place him there on Christmas morning.
